Amal A. Rage is the founder of Thrive Health Awareness and a dedicated community leader with a strong commitment to improving health, wellbeing, and opportunities for underrepresented communities. Her journey began by supporting lone parents who were experiencing social isolation, stigma, and a lack of access to clear guidance and practical support. By listening closely to lived experiences, Amal recognized the need for broader, more inclusive support. This insight led to the creation of Thrive Health Awareness—an organization focused on empowerment, confidence-building, education, skills development, and community integration. Amal continues to lead with compassion, ensuring individuals and families are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to move forward and thrive.

Thrive Health Awareness was created by Amal A. Rage with a clear aim—to support people who felt unsure where to turn for help with their health, wellbeing, confidence, and personal development. The journey began through close work with Somali women, particularly lone parents, who were seeking guidance, reassurance, and practical support during challenging times.
Through listening and learning from these women, it became clear that the challenges they faced were shared by many others. Women, children, and families from different backgrounds were experiencing similar barriers, including stigma, low confidence, and limited access to skills, information, and opportunities.
This understanding shaped the growth of Thrive Health Awareness into a wider, more inclusive community organization. Today, we support individuals and families through health and well-being programs, educational workshops, skills development, employability support, and confidence-building activities.
Our journey is built on listening, learning, and working together to create healthier, stronger, and more connected communities.
